This is a Wren on a Stump in the discontinued Poole Pottery Stoneware Wildlife Sculptures, a series of stoneware animals and birds by Barbara Linley Adams.
Being the first to be issued in this range in 1972 this is now quite the rare piece.
NB This item may be a slight second in that the beak does not seem to be quite set right, although it does make it rather charming and unique in it's own right. It is therefore sold at approx. 75% of the usual price. It is otherwise in Excellent condition.
